He has managed multiple complex high value, high profile and document heavy disputes in a wide variety of commercial sectors, including all professions and in the insurance market. He particularly relishes untangling intractable business ownership, business sale and commercial supplier disputes.
Richard seeks to get to grips with the dynamic specific to dispute from the outset, so that he can devise and implement the most effective strategy for resolution.
Prior to founding Loney Stewart Holland in 2016, Richard was for many years a partner at a national full-service insurance and commercial law firm, where he established and led a group of over 30 specialist lawyers dealing with commercial, professional, professional indemnity, insurance coverage, financial services, insolvency and non-standard disputes.
He is passionate about further developing the firm’s specialist litigation business model, providing uncompromised focus for the benefit of each client.
