He acts for a range of clients to include SMEs and owner managed businesses, through to large financial institutions and publicly listed companies.

He is regularly instructed across the full range of commercial litigation matters and has a particular interest in breach of contract claims, partnership & shareholder disputes and business protection matters.

His focus is on providing strategic and pragmatic legal advice to help achieve specific objectives, whether that is through the courts or alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation.

Michael is dual-qualified in South Africa and England and Wales. Prior to joining Loney Stewart Holland, he was a partner in another Bristol based law firm and also worked at a major international law firm.
